Quick, longlasting go to eyemake up look! Using few products

Lately, I have not been wanting to spend a long time on my eye makeup in the morning. I have been combining a paint pot with a shadow, and it has given me the most beautiful look that is long lasting. It is an effortless look, that even a beginner to wearing makeup can accomplish it.
I only use a total of 5 products, including the brush, to get ready. You will find the culprits of this look below.

Mac Paint Pot in Constructivist (brown bronze color),Nutty Noisette by Wet n Wild(a taupe color sating finish)Buxom Lash Mascara.Sephora long lasting liquid eyeliner in black and an E40 brush by Sigma.(for the brush go here http://www.sigmabeauty.com/?Click=631)
First, you can use your finger to apply the paint pot; then you take the E40 brush and blend the eyeshadow all over the lid starting in the crease, and the least of the product goes on the lid. Line your eye. Finally, put your mascara on.
My quick go to look that is long lasting! (photo taken at end of day for me)

The cool thing is you can use this same technique with any color combination you like. Purple/Violet is a great color combo to try too!
Enjoy!

Mega Deal of the Day: CVS 40% off Physicians Formula Cosmetics

The Nude Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow and Liner from Physicians Formula is very similar to the Naked 2 pallet. I have not been into drugstore brand makeup that much until lately; not because it was drugstore but because I could never find anything with great staying power or that I really enjoyed.

The game has changed! Drugstore brands have stepped it up! They are just as good as some high end  makeup brands. If you were like me and didn't give it try, you had better give it a shot now!

BUT wait the best part is....this eyeshadow retails for at or around $10.99 and because CVS is having 40% of their Physicians Formula and combined with my $5.00 rewards bucks, I only spent a WHOPPING! $1.74
Happy shopping everyone! Up next...my favorite drugstore eye shadows!

Spring and Summer Trend: Corals!

Yes, it is the trend again I have seen  this year.  Coral lips and cheeks. Which tells me that corals have great color pay off for so  many skin tones.

I have found a perfect lip and cheek combination of corals that will go with the darkest of skin tones to the lightest of skin tones.
Not only do they pack a punch of color, but they also have great benefits and lasting power.

Tarte blush is a 12- hour clay blush. The color is supposed to last all day. It is suppose to help minimize oil in and around the pores, to balance skin and keep it in place.
People with dry skin are supposed to benefit from the moisturizing properties in the clay and help nourish the skin. Combination skin...well it will target in on what it needs to do for your skin. That is why this is the perfect coral blush for all.

Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti is a great coral color. It is like a lip stick and lip butter in one; hydrating and pigmented! According to the findings,94% of women felt lips were softer, smoother, and instantly hydrated.

So if you are looking for a great combinations of corals, these have got to be my top picks out of many I have tried!
Have fun ladies with corals and don't be afraid of color!
Remember every women should feel beautiful!

Eye Shadow Primer!

So the question I get asked the most from people I know is "how do you get your eye makeup to last all day like you just put it on?"

You HAVE to use an eyeshadow primer, but there are so many out there you might say!
You have to find the best one for the look you are going for.

My choice for a neutral look is the KatVonD High Voltage Eye primer.(retails for $15 USDA) I have to say ladies this is better than Urban Decay Primer Potion,(which is still a favorite) but with the KatVonD you only need a little bit, it is very creamy and nudes out the eyelid.  That way when you put that nice neutral color all over the lid it does not budge. This is also a great primer for when you use bright colors because it nudes out your lid, the intensity of the bright colors really pop.

Another great tip is not to rub your eyes a lot. I am not one to rub my eyes a lot, but that is one thing someone at work was telling me their main problem is.
So if you are looking for a great primer go check it out!

If you would like to see a picture of one with and without let me know in the comments!

So, I have seen many people with blogs, and decided to do one too. Being on bed rest has had its challenges, but I am definitely grateful for the miracle of pregnancy. I have felt isolated and alone a lot of the times...I mean I know I am not alone, but being restricted to the house pretty much only in going to Dr and my upcoming shower; I really spend every day in bed or on the couch.
For those who do not know why some women have to be on such strict bed rest is because some of us have what's called an incompetent cervix...which means the weight of pregnancy is too much for the cervix and it starts to shorten/open to soon. Luckily for me I was seeing a specialist and, they discovered my cervix length was 1.8 cm, it is supposed to be above 3 cm. I hadn't started to dilate and my cervix was still closed, so they did and emergency cerclage which is a stitch that is helping keep me cervix in place and from opening too soon. It is also God's miracle. By being on strict bed rest, I keep as much pressure off my cervix which was too short. I am not supposed be on my feet for long period of time. The good news is that getting pregnant is not the problem is staying pregnant. The Doctors didn't that was my problem until it happened so if I do get pregnant again, I will have to have a cerclage done, but earlier in my pregnancy while my cervix still has a lot of length. I won't have to be on such strict bed rest if/when there is a next time ,but at least now we have an idea.
They still don't know if this is what happened with my last pregnancy and caused Kaitlyn to come early...I had an acute infection. They don't know what could have come first; my cervix opening unknowingly and that caused the infection or the infection caused me to go into preterm labor...we will never know for sure and I am OK with that, I mean we have to come to peace with not knowing for sure, but thank God we were able to see what was happening with this pregnancy before it was too late...
